My Process
Collaborative Craftsmanship
Every alteration is a conversation. At each step, I ask: "Do you like this? This way or that? How does it feel?" From adjusting the fit to perfecting the length and neckline, I handle every detail to make you feel stunning on your special day.
I work with all gown styles — A-line, ballgown, mermaid, and more — across delicate fabrics like lace, silk, chiffon, and fully beaded materials. Your initial appointment is followed by generally 3 additional visits, with the final fitting approximately 2 weeks before your wedding. For out-of-town brides, I can combine appointments to accommodate travel.
I also offer steaming service so your gown is wrinkle-free and ready to go. For steamed dresses, we can arrange a pickup time during the week of your wedding or even on your wedding day itself. I'll walk you through proper hanging and storage so it stays perfect.

Custom Sleeves
Adding sleeves, removing them, or reshaping — you choose the lace and placement yourself.
Closures & Structure
Zipper replacements, hook-and-eye adjustments, corset modifications, and boning enhancements.
Hand-Stitching & Detail
Meticulous hand-stitching to maintain the gown's original design, including beadwork and applique.
Timing
When Should You Book?
If you want to work with your preferred seamstress, book as soon as possible. Most brides reach out once they have a date and venue. I typically begin hands-on work about 3 months before your wedding, but booking early secures your spot. Most dresses need at least some work — even just a bustle.
